Terms of Service

1. Definitions

These Terms govern access to and use of the School AI Compliance Platform.

• User: Any individual with login access
• Organization: A school, district, or vendor represented on the Platform
• Customer: A school or district purchasing access
• Vendor: A company providing tools or services to schools

2. Account Responsibilities

Users agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Maintain security of logins
• Not share accounts
• Use the Platform only for lawful and educational compliance purposes

3. License to Use

We grant Users a non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for documenting AI tool usage, completing questionnaires, generating compliance reports, and uploading documentation.

4. Acceptable Use

Users may not use the Platform to:

• Upload malicious files
• Store or share illegal content
• Harass or impersonate others
• Attempt unauthorized access to other organizations

5. Intellectual Property

All platform content, UI, questionnaires, risk scoring logic, and features remain our intellectual property. Vendors retain rights to their uploaded content and product information.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by EU law, we are not liable for indirect damages, decisions made based on questionnaire responses, or vendor inaccuracies. Maximum direct liability is limited to the fees paid in the previous 12 months.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands and applicable EU law (GDPR, AI Act). Disputes are handled in Dutch courts.
